Sorry for the late posting about Mother's Day. Yea it was about 5 days ago, but the love for mom is everyday, right? So, let me tell you about my mom, superwoman in my family.
Ibu, I called my mom as Ibu. She is not slim and tall. She does not have a long hair. She does not wear a dress, errr except you count daster as a dress, yes she wear it often. She can not talk with a soft voice, almost yelling all of time. But, she is perfect for us. Ibu knows us so well.
Ibu knows that her oldest son has more sensitive heart than her daughters. She knows that I am still stubborn until now. She knows that her little daughter has a capability to hide her feeling as a secret. Ibu also knows that family does not always stick together.
I do not know what to say, but I really grateful to have a mom like Ibu who never forced me to be a smart kid in the school. Who is being a good mentor when I had exam in 2nd and 3rd grade. Who never said that she was proud of me when I had a best achievement in 6th grade. Who never showed her disappointment when I was failed in the match, when my achievement in school was getting worse, and when I am failed in one of the admission tests for college scholarship. Ibu just said, "Let's try next time". I wished I have a chance to turn back time, I will not a same mistake, I promise, Bu.
Ibu who is always patience, who puts her kids' name on her prays, who wants the best for her kids and family. May my love for you as much as your love for us. I always love, miss, and need you, Bu.
Happy Mother's Day, Ibu.
Wish a happiness always come to you.
Love, kiss, and hug,
F
